Mike and I pass this grubby little burger joint on the way home every day. It’s called Stanton’s City Bites. Big sign outside boasts that it’s been voted “Best Cheesebugers in the City”several years running ny the Houston Press.
Haven’t tried the burger yet, but this place is AWESOME. It’s an old grocery store that has a deli counter where they cook ALL SORTS of stuff. Bonus: this antique cash register with the old MasterCharge logo. They still use it. Getting our take out now. Will report back on the food.
